Florida Pet Services Association is comprised of companies that provide professional pet services in Florida. All members of FPSA are required to be a legal business, and be insured.

Mission Statement: To promote professionalism, provide elite education and create and connect professional relationships in the pet industry in the state of Florida.

Vision Statement: To promote the highest level of excellence in the pet industry and advancement of pet care standards in the state of Florida.

Savanna Westwood

President

Savanna is the Owner and Founder of The Savvy Sitter, Pet Sitting and Dog Walking, LLC and the Peaceful Pet Music -Calm Music for Pets YouTube Channel. Having grown up surrounded by animals, she has always enjoyed spending time with them. She has lived in the Winter Garden and Windermere Area for over 30 years. Although she doesn’t have furry pets of her own, minus a Betta Fish and Snails. As an active equestrian, she is comfortable around big dogs and horses. Her focus remains on continually improving the services offered by The Savvy Sitter, ensuring a high standard of care for clients. Savanna loves caring for animals, ensuring they get the cuddles, playtime, and treats they deserve.Savanna is passionate about advancing professionalism and education within the pet services industry in Florida. She is also dedicated to building a strong network and connecting pet professionals within the state.

When she’s not looking after her clients’ furry friends, Savanna enjoys reading, practicing archery, riding, and continually finding new ways to enhance the services provided to her clients.

Shannon Hendon

Vice President

Shannon is the Founder and CEO of Ocala Pet Sitting, an award-winning business she established in 2006 after completing a B.S. degree in Animal Biology from the University of Florida. Her deep passion for animal care and dedication to excellence have propelled Ocala Pet Sitting to the forefront of the industry. Shannon is particularly committed to raising the standards of care for cats and continually pushes for higher benchmarks in feline care. An avid networker, she enjoys connecting with other pet business professionals to foster collaboration and elevate industry standards.

Beyond her professional achievements, Shannon has been happily married for 33 years and is the proud mother of four children and GrannyShanny to seven grandkids. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, relaxing at the beach, and indulging in her passion for crocheting.

Charan Favazza

Secretary

Charan Favazza has dedicated more than two decades to the well-being of the community’s most beloved four-legged companions. As the owner and operator of a pet care business, Charan has spent the past nine years growing what began as a solo passion project into a thriving operation supported by an incredible and dedicated team.

Charan believes that great pet care is built on two things: consistency and heart. While proud of the strong reputation the business has built for professional excellence, Charan recognizes that its success is truly the result of the “pack” behind it—a talented team that treats every pet as if they were their own.

When not in the office or out in the field, Charan is happiest spending time with family. They are the “why” and the greatest support system behind the business. Balancing the fast pace of entrepreneurship with the joy of family life has reinforced a simple truth: whether at home or in business, everything comes down to the people—and pets—we love most.

Heather Scott

Treasurer

Heather Scott is a serial entrepreneur and the owner of Heather’s Pet Care LLC, a professional dog walking and pet sitting company based in New Jersey that has been serving clients for over ten years!

With a background in sales and marketing and a master’s degree in accounting, Heather brings both operational and financial expertise to the pet care industry. She is passionate about building sustainable businesses, supporting professional standards, and strengthening the pet care community.

As Treasurer of the Florida Pet Services Association, Heather looks forward to contributing her financial knowledge and entrepreneurial experience to support the organization and its members.
